Exertis has appointed a new sales director for its mobile division.
The technology distributor has today announced that Mark Weston will take over as sales director, UK & Ireland, for its mobile division. Weston will report to Simon Woodman, mobile division director, and be responsible for the divisional P&L, leading the sales team and implementing sales initiatives in the retail and business sectors.
Woodman said of the appointment: “Mark will be a great asset to our team with his wealth of experience in both distribution and the mobile market. He is the ideal candidate to help us continue our growth and develop new opportunities that exist for our resellers with our innovative range of services.”
Weston boasts over two decades of experience in the channel. Most recently he was sales director for UK and Western Europe at HTC, and prior to that, an account director at Microsoft, responsible for Nokia distribution and Microsoft Surface.
He commented: “Distribution’s fast-paced environment is something that I enjoy, and Exertis is an exciting place to work with some interesting opportunities to help customers deploy services as part of their sales strategy.
