Exertis Group appoints global diversity and inclusion programme lead

Exertis has announced the appointment of Kim Lonas as global diversity & inclusion programme lead

Lonas will report directly into Tim Griffin, DCC technology & Exertis Group MD. In this newly created position, Lonas will drive the development of Exertis’ Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) strategy. This involves evangelising and project managing the strategy implementation across the division, whilst ensuring ownership and accountability is embedded within each business through the leadership teams and the Global Diversity & Inclusion Council.

Lonas will play a key role in actively encouraging broader cultural and positive change with particular focus on how the business serves underrepresented groups and ensuring every voice is heard. Lonas’ most recent role was HR director, Exertis North America. Lonas has been at Exertis North America (previously Stampede) for six years and is based in Buffalo. Since joining Exertis North America, Lonas has been active in driving the D&I agenda and has been a contributing member of AVIXA’s Diversity Council for the past three and a half years. Lonas is co-lead for DCC’s Inclusion & Diversity project workstream and co-chair of the AVIXA Women’s Council of Western New York.
