Exertis has announced a new distribution agreement with EZVIZ, a provider of wireless cameras, action cams, sensors and surveillance equipment for the home and business. EZVIZ Wi-Fi and wire-free smart home products are also compatible with voice assistant products from Amazon and Google.
Rod Slater, Exertis head of smart tech and IoT, said of the partnership:
“Voice assistants have stimulated the smart home market, particularly in applications like security. EZVIZ was one of the first vendors to enable video and voice control in the smart home. With EZVIZ’s high quality video, consumers can combine best in class smart home security video with voice integration to easily manage their smart home.
“For instance, by integrating a camera with Echo Show or Fire TV, all a consumer needs to do is to ask Alexa to show them a room and the feed from an internet-connected camera will provide the visual access in real time.”
