Midshire gets gold with Microsoft

Midshire is proud to announce that it has expanded its Microsoft competencies, upgrading its Silver Partner status to Gold in Small & Midmarket Cloud Solutions, and becoming a coveted Silver Data Centre.

The highest tier of Microsoft’s Partner Network, this accreditation is achieved through rigorous, industry-verified exams and client feedback, and highlights Midshire’s commitment to providing the very best in the sales and support of Microsoft products and services.

Phil Sundet, group IT manager at Midshire commented: The rate of technological change today makes it paramount for providers of IT products to remain ahead of the curve, and crucially to be able to demonstrate they’re keeping up. It’s no longer acceptable to set up shop, sell IT products, and lack in service and support, and Microsoft knows this.”

Launched in 2000, the partner programme gives members access to a Regional Service Centre for live chat support, and requires partners to demonstrate their knowledge by using Microsoft technology as the primary platform for the firm.

Sundet added: At Midshire we’ve always understood that one size doesn’t fit all, particularly when it comes to complicated IT infrastructure; but by receiving two Microsoft certifications I think it really shows our ongoing pledge to an excellent service for all.

There are over 640,000 global members of the Microsoft Partner Network, and only 5 percent of those are certified gold, so it’s a real accolade to my team and their capabilities, they should feel very proud!”
