Rob Vickerman to headline #OFfest17
Office Friendly has announced that Rob Vickerman will be its headline speaker at the Entrepreneurs Festival in October.
The dealer group returns to The Belfry, Sutton Coldfield, to host a two-day event designed to inspire business owners and more with stories of hard work, perseverance, and resourcefulness in building a business. The event will take on an updated entrepreneurial format and embrace the theme of festivals; think Glastonbury, Oktoberfest, Burning Man, Canne, and many more.
Rob Vickerman is an ex-international rugby captain who merges his success in sport leadership and management and is currently studying Positive Psychology with Coaching Psychology as an MSc. He played professionally for 12 years, at Leeds, Newcastle and with England Sevens, before retiring at 29 with a neck injury.
Rob speaks with great passion on a host of high performance, productivity and leadership topics with a very incisive and captivating style. Using a rare combination of leadership, positive psychology and international sporting experiences, Rob Vickerman talks of how teamwork can be individually understood, challenged, developed and most importantly, enjoyable.
Julie Hawley, Office Friendly Managing Director said: “Building a great team is one of the hardest concepts in business. Maintaining, developing and motivating the team is a different task completely, and places huge importance on self-awareness.
“Rob’s interactive workshop will take delegates through how important it is to lead yourself first, before leading others and how can this can help your business.”
Other sessions and speakers will include Supporting Women in Business, a supplier exhibition and expert advice on data management, ecommerce and more. The event has been designed to be as flexible as possible so that every business can benefit. Choose the sessions that suit you, no matter your aims, size, or industry.
More speakers for the event will be announced shortly. Entrepreneurs Festival will take place from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 October 2017 at The Belfry, Sutton Coldfield. You can book your place by calling 0114 256 6300 or email [email protected] for a booking form.
