New research compiled by office supplies software specialist ECI Software Solutions has uncovered the tracks that we love to listen to at work

By analysing over tw0 million songs on Spotify playlists linked to the office and work, the research has revealed the top 25 hits here:

  2. Eminem – Till I Collapse
  3. BTS – Dynamite
  4. Dua Lipa – Don’t Start Now
  5. Ed Sheeran – Shape of You
  6. The Chainsmokers – Closer
  7. Foster The People – Pumped Up Kicks
  8. Survivor – Eye of the Tiger
  9. Panic! At The Disco – High Hopes
  10. Roses – Imanbek Remix
  11. Kanye West – POWER
  12. Journey – Don’t Stop Believin’

The Weeknd’s Blinding Lights leads the way thanks to its TikTok popularity, but throwback hits such as Eye Of The Tiger from Rocky III, Africa by TOTO, AC/DC’s Thunderstruck and Tiny Dancer by Elton John all feature in the top 25.

Upbeat tracks are clearly popular for office singalongs and motivational boosts, thanks to the likes of Shape Of You by Ed Sheeran, Closer by The Chainsmokers and the incredibly catchy Can’t Stop This Feeling by Justin Timberlake.

And who could forget everyone’s favourite 80s anthem – Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey – which was 12th.

Top 10 most listened to artists in the office

The list of most listened-to artists on Spotify is very modern, with only AC/DC representing from the annals of rock and roll. Taking the podium spots are three very vastly different artists: Ed Sheeran, Eminem and Coldplay. However, the rest of the artists in the top 10 are a mix of pop acts, hip hop stars, and dance artists – plus Queen B herself, Beyoncé.
