Antalis expands in the north

Antalis Packaging has launched a new packaging branch to serve growing demand within the Yorkshire region – a move which is already proving a hit with local businesses.

The new branch, which is based out of Antalis’ existing office and warehouse in Leeds, is headed up by regional packaging company manager Steve Marples who has been with the business since 1997. As part of the new move, Steve has recently recruited two new account managers to keep up with growing demand; this includes industry-expert Ben Oakes, bringing with him over fifteen years’ of working in the packaging sector, most recently specialising in corrugated solutions, and Stacey Allen, an experienced sales representative who, having started in sales at Antalis in 2017, was headhunted for the job.

With a newly strengthened team, the division is focused on its continued roll-out of the business’s ‘Challenge’ initiative whereby businesses are invited to task Antalis to solve their packaging problems via a free smart audit. One of the expert team will then go and conduct a thorough audit of their premises and make recommendations to address any issues and improve efficiencies – with some customers seeing their packaging costs reduced by as much as 70% as a direct result.

Steve commented: “This new branch opening means we are able to provide a much greater level of tailored, personal support to businesses in the region, providing access to a team of local packaging experts on their doorstep.

By working in partnership with customers, we can immerse ourselves in their warehouse operations and apply our expertise to help make a real difference to their bottom line. Whether through bespoke packaging solutions, warehouse optimisation or packaging automation, there is much we can do to help Northern businesses reduce their costs, cope with seasonal demand spikes and improve the efficiency of their supply chain processes.

Since launching the division we’ve already helped lots of customers make a real difference to their bottom line but we want to help more – we’d urge businesses to challenge Antalis to solve whatever packaging problem they may be facing by requesting their free Smart Audit or contacting one of our experts.”
