Gary started in the office supplies industry 30 years ago as a sales trainee in an independent dealer. After two years of accelerating Anglo’s remodelling into a multi-services, environmentally-sustainable provider, Anglo was sold to Complete Business Solutions Group in July 2018. Gary remains as Anglo MD and MD of CBS.

The seminar

Although the office supplies industry has experienced some of its biggest challenges in more than 30 years, throughout the UK, the pace of change has been felt more intensely in London than anywhere else. The relentless drive of Amazon business (estimated to be generated £1.5bn in sales in London alone), a decline in traditional product sales as well as the changing dynamic of the employment market (and the influence and expectations of employees and, subsequently, the employer) means the independent dealer has to find ever-increasing ways to stay relevant and to demonstrate value added solutions to their clients.
