  • Skills.
  • Knowledge.
  • Experience.
  • Qualities/traits.

Most probably, they will be looking at a number of people’s profiles, only reaching out to those who have a strong fit with what they require and what people are offering. It’s vital that you showcase, effectively, what you offer.

You should also understand that you will be better-suited to some roles than others; there some jobs you know you would hate even though you know you could learn them quickly and the money is great!

Key tips for anyone looking for their next job:

  • Accept that you will be a great fit for some roles – but not others.
  • Do not be disheartened if you are not being contacted for roles which are not a good fit – this is positive!
