NEWS: BOSS Midlands Launch ‘Step Back in Time’ Networking Experience at Black Country Living Museum

Tickets now on sale for unique industry event taking place on 25th June

BOSS Midlands has announced the launch of its latest networking event, Step Back in Time, set to take place on 25th June at the iconic Black Country Living Museum.

Designed to bring together professionals from across the Business Supplies and Services sector, the event promises a fresh approach to industry networking — combining insight, connection, and experience in a setting unlike any other.

With tickets priced at £30, demand is already building, and organisers have confirmed that this event is expected to sell out.

Networking Done Differently

Moving away from traditional formats, Step Back in Time offers delegates the opportunity to connect in a more relaxed and engaging environment.

The day will begin at 8:30am with arrival and welcome drinks, followed by a programme of informal networking designed to encourage meaningful conversations and long-term relationship building across the industry.

Valuable Industry Insight

The event will feature three key sponsor presentations, delivering valuable and timely insight:

  • Navigator – Andrew Gilbert – will share an overview of current market conditions, exploring the factors shaping the paper sector and how businesses can respond moving forward.
  • VOW Wholesale – Adrian Butler, will provide a mid-year industry update, offering perspective on performance, trends, and the outlook for the remainder of the year.
  • Nescafé – Jason Jones will present insights into its product range and upcoming launches, highlighting innovation within the category.

These sessions are designed to equip delegates with practical knowledge and strategic understanding to support their businesses.

A Venue Like No Other

Set within the Black Country Living Museum, the event offers a truly distinctive backdrop.

Spanning over 300 years of industrial history, the museum brings the past to life through immersive streets, historic buildings, and live interpretation of the region that played a pivotal role in Britain’s industrial development.

Following a light lunch served from 12:00pm, delegates will receive an update from the BOSS Federation before being invited to explore the museum at their own pace from 1:00pm onwards.

Building Community Across the Industry

BOSS Midlands continues to focus on creating opportunities for its members to build meaningful, long-lasting relationships.

Step Back in Time is designed not only as an event, but as an experience — one that reflects the strength of the community and the importance of connection within the industry.
