Exertis AV has confirmed its closure in a post shared on LinkedIn, thanking its followers for being part of the company’s journey and “the Exertis AV story.”
The announcement follows a difficult period for the technology distributor.
While Exertis AV has now closed, other AV distribution businesses formerly associated with the Exertis brand remain operational. US-based Almo and Jam continue under DCC plc’s ownership and have been rebranded as Nexora. Meanwhile, Nexora’s central European AV distribution arm has revived its previous Comm-Tec brand. These businesses have operated independently from Exertis UK since the British company’s sale to Aurelius.
We have been following the Exertis update since the first announcements were made last year. A detailed timeline of events since December can be found in our special report in the February/March issue of Dealer Support.
