As reported by Print Weekly, The Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA) hosted its largest-ever Annual Networking Lunch in Birmingham this month
The Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA) welcomed 125 industry professionals to its Annual Networking Lunch earlier this month, moving the popular event to a larger venue in Birmingham to accommodate growing interest.
Held at the skyline-view Marco Pierre White restaurant atop The Cube Hotel, the lunch brought together a diverse cross-section of the UK print industry—including printers, buyers, suppliers, designers, marketers, and tech developers. The event was designed to strengthen industry ties and support the IPIA’s mission to drive growth and innovation across the print supply chain.
In keeping with its focus on connection, the lunch featured structured networking opportunities, with guests rotating tables between courses. Pre- and post-lunch drinks provided further space for informal conversation and relationship building.
IPIA Chair Alasdair Browne delivered a keynote address, drawing on his experience as managing director of Abbot Print. He highlighted key opportunities for business development and underlined the value of collaboration and face-to-face networking in unlocking future growth for the sector.
