JGBM has reported a 28% turnover increase in their Q1 period, with an increase in YOY profit too. This coincides with the launch of its free and new-for-2018 MMS managed marketing services.
John George, MD of JGBM, commented:
“One thing we want to shout a bit more about this year is that we’re as much a marketing company as we are a tech distributor, and instrumental in our current growth is our new cloud-based managed marketing services. These are designed to fix the issue of dealers being uncompetitive in office machines.
“Techstuff! is the spearhead of our MMS platform and essentially delivers brand promotions and competitive product pricing straight to dealers’ customers, via their website, email, and social media. Importantly, the dealer doesn’t have to do anything as it’s a cloud-based platform and we manage it for them. It’s also free of charge. New promos appear within 24hrs of the manufacturer launching them, which is crucial in staying competitive. There’s now approaching 200 dealers on MMS and it’ll develop further as we go through the year.”
