Antalis has hired two key new players to its Office channel, appointing Monika Ostrowska to the role of product manager and Andrea Kay as the division’s new marketing manager.
Already active in her new role, Ostrowska will be responsible for spearheading the Antalis office product strategy through the development of the division’s product portfolio to ensure that it drives increased revenue and profits while meeting customer needs.
With over 15 years’ international experience in blue-chip companies under her belt, she brings with her an extraordinary track record for delivering strategic product growth and development. Most recently, working as a product manager at Bristan, the UK’s largest supplier of plumbing products, Ostrowska was in charge of the cradle-to-grave product lifecycle development of the company’s premium Heritage Bathrooms brand. Prior to this, she spent several years at French multinational Saint-Gobain, with stints at Philip Morris International and Siemens.
Meanwhile, Kay joins Antalis from industry giant Office Depot, where she spent the last seven years, specialising in a variety of areas including education and driving the customer lifecycle. Her pinnacle role as the European marketing manager for their Viking brand involved successfully driving strategy on the customer side by engaging with an active base of over a million customers, across 11 different countries. Other roles during her twenty year marketing career have included working with high profile brands such as Silverstone Race Circuit, Travelsphere Holidays and First Leisure Corporation.
In her new role, Kay will be tasked with putting her extensive knowledge of the industry to good use in order to hone client relationships by ensuring customers are leveraging innovative solutions to drive their businesses further whilst providing invaluable marketing support to the sales team.
Both Kay and Ostrowska will report to Antalis Office head of channel, Susana Marambio.
Commenting on her new role, Ostrowska said: “I’m delighted to be joining Antalis during such an exciting time for the business. With the office industry facing an unprecedented level of change, my challenge will be to ensure our product offering matches the shifting demands of the marketplace. I’m looking forward to using my broad experience working across various industries and markets in order to identify, source or develop the perfect solutions for our customers.”
Kay commented: “It’s a fantastic opportunity to join the team here at Antalis. Having worked in the industry for a number of years, I’m keen to get stuck in and harness my experience to ensure we tap into the growing market for new, more innovative personalised solutions through increased customer engagement and loyalty.”
Susana Marambio, Antalis Office Head of Channel, added: “I’m thrilled to welcome Andrea and Monika to our team. It’s fantastic to have two people of such a high calibre on board during this exciting time for the business. We have major plans to ensure the Office division remains progressive and ambitious. I am very excited to see how they both develop our offering and tools to support our customers.”
