New co-chairs for the LOTF Committee announced:

In accordance with the LOTF Constitution the current LOTF chair, Scott Castle from Staples UK has stepped down after his two years of service. BOSS would like to thank Scott and welcome co-chairs, Alex Stone, head of sales at Office Friendly and Rachael Lewis, sales operations director at OT Group.

Scott Castle stated: “I’m proud to have chaired the BOSS Leaders of the Future committee for the previous two years, in what have been very unique circumstances. The committee has worked extremely hard to continue to provide relevant content for future leaders of our industry, particularly hosting webinars during the peak of the pandemic when the entire nation was working from home. During my tenure I wanted to highlight a topic that is very close to myself, mental wellbeing, and through amazing sessions with the likes of Luke Ambler, Alex Staniforth and Tom Dickinson I believe I have done that.

The committee is in extremely safe hands with Alex and Rachael, and I’m genuinely excited to see what new levels they can take us to. Having two individuals as impressive as Alex and Rachael leading the committee for the next two years will be fantastic, I have seen their vision for the future of the committee, and I can very confidently state that any future events and, the support we provide to future leaders, will go from strength to strength over the next two years.”

Rachael Lewis, sales operations director at OT Group, comments: “I am delighted to be elected as co-chair of the Leaders of the Future committee with Alex after two years on the committee under Scott’s inspiring leadership. Scott has navigated through a very challenging period with energy and rigour to overcome challenges and continue to inspire our LOTF community. Alex and I are both very excited about building on Scott’s fantastic work to drive our contributions to the industry to a new level with the support of our strong committee members and Amy and the BOSS team. I am extremely keen to make a positive impact with future events and echo Alex’s drive to continue supporting our future leaders. We are very open to ideas, suggestions and feedback from our future leaders and would love to have some volunteers for speakers at future events. We strongly encourage you to connect with us on LinkedIn and get in touch.”

Alex Stone, head of sales at Office Friendly comments: “I’m really humbled and excited to be given the opportunity to be co-chair of the Leaders of the Future committee alongside Rachael. It’s great to be stepping into Scott’s shoes as he has done a fantastic job leading the committee and LOTF community through the most turbulent period of its history, and I’m keen to role my sleeves up and build upon his success. I hope to bring my enthusiasm and energy for this great industry into our future events to continue to support our future leaders.”

Amy Hutchinson, BOSS CEO comments: “The whole LOTF committee and I congratulate Scott for his exemplary leadership over a very challenging two years, he has so much to be proud of and we are very pleased he will remain on the committee. I am absolutely delighted to welcome both Rachael and Alex to their co-chair positions. Each has unique strengths which I believe will be invaluable to the LOTF Committee moving forwards. Their partnership in this role is very exciting.”
