Complete Business Solutions (CBS) has acquired Irongate Group, which includes RAM print, adding £20m to its turnover.
The deal takes the CBS group to £120m turnover. Richard Coulson, CEO of Complete, commented:
“Irongate is a fantastic company with a wonderful mix of corporate and regional business, and products and services. Their specialist in-house web-to-print service will further strengthen our print proposition.
“Adam Noble, MD of IG/RAM, has built an exceptional team and an exceptional proposition, and we are all very much aligned on what the future service provider should look like.”
Noble Commented: “Irongate have been in business for over 41 years under the same ownership and together we have built a great business with a unique portfolio of services, the decision to work with Richard and the Complete team for the next chapter in the Irongate success story appealed to me and the shareholders.
“We love what Richard and the Complete team are building, and we believe we have found a new owner who will help the team at Irongate to continue to grow. I firmly believe that our team will also make a significant contribution to the group, a true win win for all connected.”
Coulson concluded: “IG is a truly excellent addition, and I am really pleased with the progress we are making. This acquisitions is a perfect fit for us and our strategic plan; it gives us more high-calibre people, it strengthens both our senior and regional management teams, it strengthens one of our existing service divisions and adds another key regional location – taking us to 21 strategically placed sites across the UK.
“This is a very exciting time for everyone connected with Complete as we continue to build both our national/regional platform and our complete portfolio.”
