Dams has launched their new and improved Social Spaces product portfolio with a dedicated range of furniture for breakout areas and interiors within commercial environments, manufactured in the UK by Dams.
The Social Spaces collection of over 45 unique product designs has been created by the company’s in-house design team to enable total flexibility for any office or business environment. Every upholstered item in the Dams Social Spaces range is made-to-order using the customer’s choice of fabrics for a fully co-ordinated look.
The launch is supported by the publication of the second edition of Dams Social Spaces brochure with new, innovative designs to complement the already proven and best-selling products that have been retained. The Social Spaces range of contemporary, design-led products includes upholstered soft seating, meeting pods, modular seating, lounge chairs, dining seating, tables and benching solutions to transform the office environment.
Additions to the Social Spaces portfolio include a new Piano Acoustics range to provide open plan offices and breakout spaces with multiple levels of acoustic absorption, and Soli Workspaces designed for those moments where personal space is required to focus on tasks with minimal noise and distraction.
The lounge chairs range has also been expanded to include Figaro with its provocative lines and curves which make it both eye-catching and timeless, and Joss which is a lounge chair with an exciting fusion of stylish design, sculpted contours and considered proportions.
Building on the company’s 50 year track record and UK manufacturing capabilities, Dams has invested heavily in expanding its existing upholstery production plant, with new equipment and additional trained personnel to manufacture the extended portfolio and keep pace with demand.
Each item is tracked from order through to delivery, providing complete accountability and traceability for the customer, with a fast response to customer requirements and full peace of mind thanks to Dams’ five year guarantee. The company’s in-house CAD design team also means that Dams can offer a complete project management package, including space planning and layout, delivery scheduling and assembly on site.
Managing director of Dams, Chris Scott said: “A well-designed employee breakout area is a common zone that can serve many purposes. It provides a space for informal catch ups and meetings, a space for grabbing a bite to eat at lunch, somewhere to meet and greet visitors, and importantly, an area where employees can relax away from their work space and to relieve stress.
“But Dams Social Spaces range is now much more than just furniture for breakout areas. It has evolved to include modern solutions to improve the quality of the acoustic environment and versatile furniture designs that remove employees from their hectic working areas, which are highly relevant in today’s open plan office environments to ultimately boost productivity.”
