ExaClair ltd, the UK subsidiary of the Exacompta Clairefontaine group, have announced that Exacompta have been rated favourably in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility
The review was carried out by EcoVadis, a French organisation established in 2007. EcoVardis has since grown to become the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, having created a network of over 90,000 rated companies globally to date. By combining innovative technology and CSR expertise, EcoVardis strives to engage companies with a view to helping them adopt sustainable practices.
During the assessment process EcoVardis take 4 key themes into consideration, including how the company impacts the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and responsible purchasing. They use their findings to award medals based on performance.
Exacompta have been given a 2022 bronze medal for sustainability, which places them amongst the top 50% of companies that EcoVadis have surveyed. For company ethics in particular, Exacompta ranked within the top 25% of companies within the paper and cardboard sector.
