The Sovereign EXPO hit Walsall FC’s stomping ground – Banks’s Stadium – on 23 May and energy was high for the dealer’s first ever event. The range of exhibitors at the event leaned heavily towards innovative facilities management, workwear and furniture, and each stand proved keen to speak to guests (who were further incentivised to engage with the clever use of a stamp card that entered them into a prize draw).
While a little quiet first thing due to road closures around the town, the flow of guests at the event grew substantially throughout the day, and it was wonderful to see a dealer that has done so well for itself celebrate that success with its peers.
James Mckeever, group sales director at Sovereign, told Dealer Support: “The EXPO went beyond expectation; over 50 exhibitors and 145 companies came through the doors to engage. Every member of my team went above and beyond and made the most of the showcase, and I believe we all gained something from it – with the business being the winner.”
Mckeever also took the time to thank the people involved with the event behind-the-scenes. “We can’t do what we do without our supply chain and not only did they support us, they also went the extra mile. It was fantastic to see, and this is what builds long-standing relationships.”
Thanks again to James for inviting Dealer Support along – we were thrilled to support Sovereign and will continue to do so.
