Nemo Office Club has once again seen the Keep It Local campaign shortlisted for a Boss Award for the second year running
Group MD, Tim Beaumont was delighted with the shortlisting, acknowledging that “the campaign continues to go from strength to strength and is now widely recognised across our industry, and beyond. During 2022 we have recruited a number of significant new members purely on the back of the campaign and it is wonderful to see so many dealers adopting Keep It Local at the heart of their marketing.”
Keep It Local is once again shortlisted in the ‘Campaign of the Year’ category, narrowly missing out in 2021, Tim is hoping that it will go one further step this year. “We appreciate that our campaign is more guerrilla marketing than high budget compared to some others, but it is so successful because it resonates with so many people and those that participate do it with such a passion that it becomes infectious. This year we introduced the inaugural Keep It Local Week which significantly raised the profile across both retail and commercial, and we will very shortly be announcing details of Keep It Local Week 2023 with some exciting new additions. There is an appetite for Keep It Local and it is our job to keep providing the tools and opportunities for dealers to continue reaping the benefits.”
To win the award this year Nemo Office Club will have to see off the challenge of one of their own members, Aston & James, who are also finalists in the Campaign of the Year category alongside 3M, Antalis and Pukka Pads. “It is fantastic to be shortlisted alongside such prestigious names” commented Darren Aston, MD of Aston & James, “we are very proud of our Workplace Well-being campaign, raising awareness of the issues that help to create a happier, healthier and more productive environment. The work we do is very rewarding, but it also very humbling to see that work acknowledged with a shortlisting for the Boss Awards.”
However, whatever happens with their entry, Nemo Office Club will be celebrating when the winners are announced on 24th November with all three finalists in the Independent Retail Award – Creative Cove, Meraki Colour and Stationery Supplies – being members of the group. “It is fantastic news for our retail members that work so hard” adds Tim, “I would like to pass on my congratulations to all three finalists. It is a shame there can only be one winner, but they are all winners in our eyes!”
