MPS Monitor®, the company that develops and distributes the leading platform for the remote monitoring and management of printers and multifunctional devices, has announced that it has established MPS Monitor UK Ltd
The move is in response to the success the company has enjoyed in other countries and markets in Europe, the Americas and Asia. The formation of MPS Monitor UK Ltd – which is directly owned and managed by MPS Monitor’s headquarters in Italy – is a major step in the company’s journey in expanding its footprint across UK, Ireland and the Nordics. It enables MPS Monitor to execute a tailored, local go-to-market strategy focused on delivering the full platform’s vision and value to dealers and Managed Print providers in each country.
Print industry expert Ian McRae joins Nicola De Blasi, CEO of MPS Monitor, as a board member of MPS Monitor UK Ltd. Ian is widely considered to be one of the UK’s and Europe’s most experienced print monitoring business leaders. Their combined experience will help fast-track the company’s growth, and will ensure that the newly created entity has the best resources, skills and experience to make a positive and long-lasting impact on the dealer’s community in the UK, Ireland and Nordics. MPS Monitor UK has been already staffed with a team of experienced and senior print industry experts with deep knowledge of dealer’s business and technical needs. The new team members will ensure that new and existing MPS Monitor’s customers in the countries receive the highest levels of pre- and post-sales consultancy, by driving and supporting dealers and Managed Print providers in their migration journey from legacy and old solutions towards a better future of innovation, integration and security.
The company’s commitment to building its presence in the territories, and to serving locally-based channel partners, is further reflected in the development of an intense marketing campaign that aims to create strong relationships that will be managed by the sales and pre-sales force of the new company. The sustained campaign is supported by local-language assets created by MPS Monitor that range from a Migration eBook, to adverts, videos, LinkedIn content, case studies, PR activities, newsletters, blog posts, and a dedicated web site. Additionally, MPS Monitor UK Ltd has established local accounting and administration services, thus simplifying invoicing and payment processes in local currency for its UK-based customers.
Commenting on the potential offered by the UK, Ireland and Nordics market, Nicola De Blasi, CEO of MPS Monitor, stated: “Print is evolving and needs modern monitoring solutions that deliver a fresh and new perspective to effectively address the ongoing challenges of security, print transparency and cost control. Businesses in the UK, Ireland and the Nordics are receptive to embracing print management solutions that deliver against their changing requirements. This makes the UK a terrific place to invest in order to respond to growing demand from businesses located in these countries. Furthermore, these countries have some of the most mature print eco-systems, and they are a hotbed for print innovation and innovative service and support. We are confident that we can rapidly bring the tangible benefits and award-winning value of MPS Monitor to customers based in these territories. With the team’s combined experiences and capabilities, MPS Monitor has established a powerhouse for responding swiftly and effectively to businesses’ changing needs both now and in the future.”
Talking about his new role, Ian McRae, MPS Monitor UK general manager, said: “This is an extremely exciting time as hybrid print models and cloud-based print monitoring become the template for modern organisations globally. Against that backdrop, it’s my belief that both service providers and their customers will value MPS Monitor’s excellent solution. It will deliver enhanced security, deeper data insights and a highly productive user experience, resulting in more value than they have seen before. It presents a compelling proposition for new and existing channel partners, and I am confident a UK-based presence will fuel the company’s success.”
