As reported by The Business Desk, HVM Catapult’s initiative, in partnership with Pressac, offers expert guidance to small manufacturing businesses for substantial energy savings and reduced greenhouse gas emissions, with impressive results.
It involves an assessment by HVM Catapult experts, who visit SME production sites to identify energy inefficiencies and suggest energy-saving solutions.
In a regional survey, resulted showed SMEs saved between 12% and 46% on their energy costs, with an average savings of 21%, and even achieving a 90% energy saving in one case.
