BOSS and BPIF are gathering feedback from workplace supply businesses on upcoming UK employment law reforms to assess industry readiness and concerns
BOSS, in partnership with BPIF (The Heart of British Print), has launched a survey aimed at understanding how businesses in the workplace supplies industry are preparing for the UK Government’s forthcoming employment law reforms. The initiative seeks to gather crucial feedback from businesses of all sizes to assess their awareness of, and concerns around, the changes.
The survey addresses several key issues, including the potential impact of Day 1 rights for unfair dismissal, changes to sick pay and flexible working arrangements, and new employer obligations aimed at preventing workplace harassment. Additionally, it explores the implications of ending fire-and-rehire practices and proposed changes to tribunal limits.
The feedback collected will play an important role in helping both BOSS and BPIF evaluate the level of preparedness within the industry. It will also enable both organisations to provide relevant support and ensure the concerns of businesses are considered in upcoming policy discussions.
BOSS encourages all businesses in the workplace supplies sector, whether members of BOSS, BPIF, or not, to participate in the survey. By doing so, they can ensure their views are heard and help shape the industry’s response to these significant legal changes.
