Calidore Computer Systems and Human Computer Interaction (HCI) York have joined forces via merger
Post-acquisition, all Calidore’s current staff remain with the business. HCI and Calidore plan to grow together by both creating new jobs and acquiring complementary UK businesses.
HCI Chairman Hery-Christian Henry said: “We are delighted with the merger which we believe is a great outcome for all stakeholders: staff, customers, and shareholders. We believe our two companies are perfect complements to each other. Both Calidore and HCI York have always been committed to delivering exceptional service, grounded in our core values of responsiveness, professionalism, and customer-centricity. As we merge, these values remain at the forefront. HCI York was founded in 1989 and similarly to Calidore still has their founders working in the team with many customer relationships into their 3rd decade.”
Calidore Director Richard Olds was quick to echo the upbeat sentiment: “Calidore will now be able to offer our state-of-the-art Software for the Office Supplies Industry with a new feature rich dedicated, integrated webstore as well as enhanced capability to deliver bespoke websites and complex data architecture. We are now able to develop our current and new solutions rapidly in-house given HCI’s expertise in the field.”
