NEWS: United UK Joins Forces With Access Sport

As reported by Nursing Times, a new partnership will empower disabled and disadvantaged young people across the UK through inclusive community sports initiatives

United UK is proud to announce Access Sport as its national charity partner for 2025. This impactful collaboration will support inclusive community sports initiatives, transforming the lives of disabled and disadvantaged young people across the UK.

As part of the partnership, United UK has pledged to donate £200 to Access Sport for every spend review, regardless of whether it leads to new business. This commitment underscores United’s dedication to driving positive change and empowering underserved communities.

Access Sport works tirelessly to equip community sports clubs, organisations and volunteers with the tools and training they need to provide inclusive sports opportunities. With only 47% of young people currently meeting the Chief Medical Officer’s physical activity guidelines, the charity’s work is more vital than ever. By fostering inclusivity, Access Sport opens the door for disabled and disadvantaged young people to experience the life-changing benefits of sport.

From basketball and climbing to rugby league, Access Sport operates across a broad spectrum of sports. The organisation not only champions inclusivity but also addresses the root causes of exclusion in the sports sector, ensuring long-lasting change.

The partnership with Access Sport reflects United UK’s deep commitment to strengthening community ties. Both organisations share a powerful vision: a future where everyone has the opportunity to experience the transformational power of community sport. Together, they aim to build stronger, healthier futures for the next generation.

Beyond financial contributions, United UK’s staff will play an active role in the partnership by volunteering their time and resources. This hands-on engagement will allow United’s team to support Access Sport’s nationwide initiatives and connect directly with young people in local communities.

Through this partnership, United UK and Access Sport are not only raising awareness but also driving meaningful action to make inclusive community sports accessible to all.
