UTAX has demonstrated its compliance to and been certified to the Quality Management System Standard ISO 9001:2015 by British Standards Institution (BSI).
The certification was presented by BSI following a stringent auditing process. ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised Quality Management System (QMS) standard. Designed to be a powerful business improvement tool, ISO 9001 Quality Management certification helps organisations to continually improve, streamline operations and reduce costs.
Shaun Wilkinson, managing director of UTAX, commented: “We are extremely proud to announce that BSI has confirmed that UTAX operates a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. This achievement, in conjunction with our company restructure back in October 2017, has allowed us to be more efficient with our business processes and reinforces our commitment for continued growth.”
“We are delighted to have achieved this certification, which brings us in line with our parent company TA Triumph-Adler GmbH,” added Sarah Mackay, UTAX’s head of operations. “The ISO 9001 certification has validated our position in the marketplace; demonstrating our desire to always provide high levels of quality and efficiency. The standard will help us to monitor and manage quality across our business so we can identify areas for improvement, be more resilient and build on our sustainable business model.”
Tania Murray, UK head of client propositions at BSI said: “By achieving certification to ISO 9001:2015, UTAX has demonstrated that it is committed to monitoring and managing quality across all operations to ensure consistent performance and service. This will help to enhance stakeholder confidence, improve business processes and increase customer satisfaction.”
