A Yealink and Microsoft ‘discovery session’ took place at Microsoft’s UK HQ in Reading, where the numerous attendees learned about Yealink’s technology and growing partnership with Microsoft.
Visitors saw the latest Microsoft Intelligent Communications compatible products in action and met with various teams including personnel from Yealink, who flew in from China. They also had the chance to win Yealink’s new VC200 huddle video conferencing solution and its CP960 audio conferencing device.
The audience was also addressed by Microsoft’s Intelligent Communications Marketing Manager Kerri Hollis, who outlined the future of collaboration trends. Hollis revealed how the modern workplace is changing based on five generations of people needing to work seamlessly together, using multiple devices. By 2020, she said, 72% of people will work remotely.
The discovery session was hailed a resounding success by a Winchester-based reseller, who remarked afterwards to Nimans:
“I was interested in the new product ranges particularly around UC collaboration. Today’s event has been a very valuable experience particularly around Microsoft Teams and Yealink’s continued research and development. This gives me the confidence and knowledge to take our own business further forward.”
A Manchester-based counterpart added: “It was great to meet people first-hand, see the technology and learn about the plans for future. Such a top event.”
