Dealer group Advantia has marked its 30 years in business with a special birthday celebration with members, former members of staff and the Spicers-based Advantia customer service team
The event to remember was held at Eastwood Hall, Nottingham and was designed to make sure everyone had a great night with plenty of fun and lots of laughs.
The night kicked off with a welcome drink, lots of catching up and a selection of party games including party pong, open the box and some guess the contents games. This got everyone in the party mood with everyone winning either alcoholic or edible prizes. There were also three £100 vouchers up for grabs for everyone who participated in the party games.
The night continued with an indoor barbecue and entertainment from the live band, Roller Coaster. The whole night was finished off with the Advantia infamous bacon butties, cake and party bags to take home with lots of lovely samples from supportive suppliers.
There was a brief speech by Bev Boden, Advantia’s financial director who recounted how the business began, how it had changed over the years to become an industry leading group and also named members who had been in the group from the start. Boden finished off by outlining where the group is today and how exciting the future was looking with a number of major innovations planned for the forth coming months.
Beck Miller Advantia’s operations director said of the night: “We wanted a proper old-fashioned party to celebrate this key event in Advantia’s history. It needed to be light-hearted and lots of fun. The games certainly bought out the party spirit and the competitiveness on show was impressive. We definitely achieved what we set out to do with everyone having a great night and many lovely messages having been received. We are all looking forward to our 35th Birthday celebration.”
