Office Friendly Dealer of the Year, Citrus Office Group, based in Nelson, Lancashire, has acquired the goodwill and assets of Clarke’s of Nottingham in a deal to be completed on 1 February 2018.
Clarke’s trading name will be retained and the business will continue to run from its current premises.
The current owner of Clarke’s, Roger Clarke, will continue in the business and develop the Furniture Sector for the group.
Commenting on the deal Rogers said: “I am delighted to have completed the deal to move Clarke’s into the Citrus Group. I am excited about the future and working with the Citrus team in the coming months.”
Citrus MD, Gordon Profit, added “Clarke’s is a great fit for Citrus. Roger and his team are very experienced in the furniture sector and that is an area Citrus had identified for development.
“The structure and strengths that have given us significant growth in the last two years at Citrus, I believe, will help us enhance the Clarke’s business. I am personally looking forward to working with Roger and his team.”
