After over 30 years in the industry, Andy Wagg is set to retire at the end of May 2018. Wagg joined COLOP UK Ltd in 2012 as the office products sales manager. Over the past six years, he has worked closely with the dealer, wholesaler and contract stationery communities to build lasting relationships, demystify the world of rubber stamps and offer solutions to the industry’s marking needs.
With his vast knowledge of the office supplies chain, Andy has played a key role in the success of the business, Kiran D. Mistry MBA, MD of COLOP UK, said: “ A consummate professional, Andy’s eye for detail and his strategic oversight were of immense value. I shall also miss his dry sense of humour.”
Wagg commented: “I’ve always believed life is all too short and we should all make the very best of our time and I fully intend to do exactly that. I’m starting off with a few weeks in Australia to get a close up look at the Great Barrier Reef.”
Before saying farewell, Wagg will be handing over the baton to Julie Conway, COLOP UK’s current business development manager. With a sales and marketing background, Conway joined the business in July 2017 and has already worked with many of the COLOP customers – she is said to be excited about the new opportunity and looks forward to working with the office products sector.
Mistry added: “Truly sad to say goodbye to one of our industry’s true gentleman. Wishing Andy and his wife Ann, a truly wonderful retirement and many years of good health and contentment.”
