BOSS awards Hamelin Brands the BPIF Health and Safety Seal of Excellence

As reported by BOSS, Hamelin Brands has won the BPIF Health and Safety Seal of Excellence

To achieve the award, a business must undergo an in-depth audit in which it will be assessed and scored on all key areas. It must achieve a pass in all mandatory areas, and a minimum score of 80% overall to receive the award. Feedback will be given on the day of the audit including areas where improvement is needed. The audit will then be repeated every two years, and in order to retain its status the business must maintain or improve its score each time. Often the SoE award is just one stage in a programme of continued improvement.

Mandy Robson, head of HS&E at the BPIF has praised Hamelin Brands for its ongoing commitment towards continually improving safety performance. Mandy commented that “over the years, Hamelin Brands has consistently focused on a robust health and safety culture within the business. This achievement is credit to continued hard work and dedication towards health and safety”.

Rachel Weir, customer service team leader added, “We are very happy to be receiving this award again, it shows the commitment of the whole team at Red Lodge’s continued passion for safety in the workplace”.

Mike Haynes, regional HS&E adviser at the BPIF added, “Hamelin Brands clearly demonstrates all the attributes necessary to maintain a safe, healthy, working environment.”
