BOSS Special Interest Group to support collective members

Dealer Groups and Solution Providers form BOSS Special Interest Group to support their collective members

UK Dealer Group’s Advantia, Integra Business Solutions, Office Friendly, Nectere, NEMO Office Club, Superstat and Dealer Solutions Provider Office Power have come together with the BOSS Federation to form a special interest group with the purpose of highlighting issues that affect dealers operating within the business supplies industry and provide a conduit where these issues can be fed back to the wider industry or taken to government.

The BOSS Dealer Group Forum will provide an opportunity for these businesses to join together and represent the issues or challenges their members are facing to BOSS Federation. The group will work to:

  • Identify issues that need raising through the appropriate government channels and assist BOSS in procuring evidence and lobbying on dealer’s behalf.
    • Feedback into the trade issues affecting dealers or identify opportunities available to dealers.
    • Be alert to moral issues affecting dealers in the trade, including sharp or underhand practices, illegal or immoral activities and be a whistleblower on such practices/activities.
    • Provide collaboration and communication opportunities to benchmark and compare information and knowledge.
    • Help to produce positive PR for the industry so that recruitment of staff is easier for dealers.

The Forum held their first meeting on the 1st of June and elected Aidan McDonough, CEO Integra Business Solutions as their Chair. Aidan comments:

“Many of our members share the same issues, the BOSS Federation is perfectly positioned to facilitate a Forum where we as groups can come together and ensure collectively our members are being represented to the wider industry and at government level”.
