COLOP has taken a new, important expansion step; with the recent acquisition of the arts and crafts division of the Belgian-Dutch company RoyalPosthumus, COLOP intensively enters the trendy creative, gift and hobby sector with stamp products.
With the newly formed company, COLOP Arts & Crafts – now one of more than 15 affiliated companies within the COLOP Group – an international business field is opened up which aims directly at modern end customers and retail chains.
In addition to the classic and digital stamp segment, this area is now a further business area in which COLOP operates. “The creative area of stamp products has a huge potential. We will strongly expand this area with product innovations worldwide,” CEO Ernst Faber emphasised.
The creative sector enjoys great popularity among many countries. Whether for creating invitations or reminders for birthdays, Christmas, weddings or other celebrations as well as the designing of gifts, high-quality stamp products enjoy great popularity. COLOP has set itself the goal of establishing the arts and crafts sector worldwide.
“The leisure and gift area for stamp products will be another important pillar of our company. Here we see sales potential in the high single-digit million range in the next few years “, continued Faber.
