Egan Reid is proud to announce the acquisition of the good will and customer base of Burslem Stationery Supplies, following owners David and Karen Armstrong’s retirement, in a deal that sees the leading independent dealer further strengthen its position in the North West. Burslem Office Supplies has a strong and loyal client base in and around Alsager, Cheshire, developed over the past 40 years by the Amstrongs.
Andrew and Martin Reid, Egan Reid’s joint managing directors and owners, commented: “This is Egan Reid’s second acquisition this year, and the sixth in the last seven years. These are challenging times for the office supplies trade, even more so for the smaller independent dealers who may not be able to offer the complete range of products and services we do, and we are always looking for opportunities to grow through further acquisitions.”
