EveryonePrint has signed a pan-European agreement with Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe
The collaboration will see Konica Minolta expand its portfolio of cloud-based solutions to include EveryonePrint’s Hybrid Cloud Platform (HCP). EveryonePrint’s cloud-native print infrastructure solution will be available to customers across all European operating companies with immediate effect.
With this new partnership, Konica Minolta can provide customers considering a cloud-first strategy for printing with a flexible, secure and efficient solution to eliminate print servers, Windows server licenses, and significantly lower printing costs.
HCP is a fully scalable software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that has been designed from the ground up to reduce the cost and complexity associated with a traditional print environment. The multi-tenant platform enables customers to seamlessly migrate their on-premise print environment to a cloud-based service; to manage the entire printing infrastructure from a single web-based interface; and provide end-users with an easy way to access print-outs from any device – jobs are sent to a single global print queue and only released once a user authenticates at their chosen bizhub MFP.
“Customers can leverage their investment in Konica Minolta print hardware and achieve better agility through our innovative cloud-based managed print platform and customised app for bizhub devices,” said Tavs Dalaa, CEO, EveryonePrint.
“Utilising Konica Minolta’s IWS platform, resellers can simply pre-configure the devices, connect to the customers’ existing IT infrastructure and deploy the application from the cloud – a process that takes minutes and doesn’t require specialist technicians to physically install software on the devices onsite.”
HCP, designed for Konica Minolta bizhub devices is a true cloud solution, designed to remove complexity, reduce the pressure on resources and lower support costs. It’s completely serverless and fully flexible; always on, always up to date and always secure. HCP supports zero trust network policies, provides full data encryption in transit and at rest, and offers built-in auditing functionality that enables organisations to proactively protect information, track documents, manage risk and achieve compliance.
“The global pandemic has accelerated organisations’ broader digital transformation and fast-tracked the deployment of cloud technologies to increase business agility in the face of enforced remote working. Migrating the print infrastructure to the cloud delivers tangible business benefits, frees up the requirement for major upfront capital expenditure and provides the ability to scale up or down to accommodate changing business needs. We’re delighted to partner with EveryonePrint to provide a clear path for our Enterprise and SMB customers to make print part of their cloud-first strategies,” added Keiji Okamoto, president of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe.
