Mark Daisley, after over three decades of dedicated service, bids farewell, leaving behind a legacy of growth, innovation, and commitment to excellence in the Business Supplies sector

His retirement signifies the close of a chapter characterised by growth, innovation, and unwavering commitment to excellence in the Business Supplies sector. During his tenure, Mark played a crucial role in shaping ExaClair’s strategic direction, leading the company to expand its product range and strengthen its global presence. Under his leadership, ExaClair became synonymous with quality and innovation, earning the trust and loyalty of customers worldwide.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mark is a much-respected and well-liked staple in the business supplies industry. His dedication to the industry and commitment to charitable causes, such as the BOSS charity, exemplify his values and deep-rooted sense of community.

Liz Whyte, Secretary and Trustee of the BOSS Business Supplies Charity and Administration Manager at BOSS Federation, shared her thoughts on Mark’s contributions: ” Mark has been a dedicated supporter of the charity for numerous years, actively participating in events such as the annual Ben Golf and Charity Day. Whether it’s zipping around on a buggy between golf holes or entertaining the crowd during auctions, Mark’s enthusiasm and generosity shine through. He’s always been a strong advocate for BOSS and an esteemed member of the Federation, contributing his insights and expertise at various industry gatherings. Mark’s magnetic personality effortlessly draws people in, and while he’s known for his light-hearted demeanour, he’s equally capable of seriousness when the situation warrants it. Describing him as a legend isn’t an exaggeration; his impact on the industry is undeniable, and he’ll be sorely missed, particularly in social and networking settings. We extend our heartfelt wishes to Mark as he embarks on the next phase of his journey.”

Lawrence Savage, UK Marketing Manager at Exaclair, reflected on Mark’s impact: “A renowned and highly regarded character throughout the industry, Mark was one of a kind and will be dearly missed, as a fantastic commercially driven leader who had a wicked sense of humour, by all his colleagues and friends at ExaClair Limited and across the wider Exacompta Clairefontaine group. As you’d imagine, having spent over 30 years with the company there are plenty of amusing stories involving Mark. However, there is one that sticks out for many of us in the ExaClair office and I hope he forgives me for telling this tale! A few years ago, we jokingly told him we’d invested in a new ‘voice-activated’ printer. Watching him continuously repeating his name out loud as he grew increasingly frustrated with the machine for not scanning as commanded had us all in stitches! Naturally, once he caught on he gave one of his trademark cheeky smiles.
