Nemo Evolve Member Boards Direct has reported a 12% growth in sales in 2018, crediting its commitment to customer service and its wide product range.
The success experienced by Boards Direct’s has enabled it to provide support to local young people by providing apprenticeship opportunities – an initiative which has seen two apprentices gain permanent positions within finance and customer service earlier this year.
Paul Pinder, chairman at Boards Direct said, “Despite uncertainty in the British economy due to the negotiations in Europe, we are a company that is continuing to grow.
“Boards Direct achieved a 12% increase in sales in 2018 and that is due to the quality and range of products that we offer, with 3,000 products now available on our website.
“We continue to develop new lines and introduce new products as trends evolve. This year we extended our Mobiglass collection with Mobiglass Plus. An exclusive range of mobile glass writing boards that are designed and manufactured here in Nottingham. Our continued growth is also helping to support local businesses.
“It has given us the opportunity to provide young people, who want an alternative to university, with experience and training across the whole of our business combined with real job opportunities.
“Since the company was founded eight years ago, we have established ourselves as leaders due to our commitment to customer service and the product guidance that we offer. We believe this ethos will support our continued growth as we look towards our 10th birthday.”
Boards Direct counts Nottingham Trent University, Fortnum and Mason, Lloyds and Barclays Bank among its clientele, which also includes SMEs and educational establishments across the UK.
