Integra Business Solutions is delighted to be working with The Planet Mark to support members wanting to reduce their carbon emissions through the development of a sustainability strategy.
The Planet Mark will provide members with expert advice and free resources together with the opportunity to develop a tailored sustainability strategy that incorporates measurement, engagement with customers and key stakeholders together with a comprehensive communication plan.
Members participating will also benefit from bespoke workshops and toolkits, together with ongoing support to help them achieve their carbon reduction target. On successful completion and ongoing targets being met, members will receive the prestigious ‘Planet Mark’ sustainability certification that recognises outstanding achievement, encourages action and builds an empowered community of like-minded individuals and businesses. The Planet Mark also work in conjunction with The Eden Project to support projects and initiatives across the country, educating and promoting a more sustainable world.
Sian Haskell, Integra’s director of marketing, commented: “Companies are currently focusing more on sustainability and recognising their responsibilities in this area. Our members have been looking for a partner to support them and to help them incorporate a programme into their business plans. SME’s who have already adopted a sustainability strategy are starting to see many additional benefits aside from reducing their carbon footprint such as stronger customer engagement, increased customer and staff loyalty together with new business opportunities. We hope, with the help of The Planet Mark members will be able to develop more sustainable practices and be recognised for it.”
Steve Malkin, CEO, The Planet Mark added: “Many companies who are on the journey to tackle climate change struggle most with managing the carbon footprint outside of their control, especially through their supply chain. It’s for this reason we at The Planet Mark are thrilled to partner with Integra and its members to help companies buy with sustainable criteria in mind. When we work with suppliers that understand global issues and take a collaborative approach to solve them, we can truly create a thriving planet and be a collective force for good.”
