International Paper’s high-speed inkjet reel brand, JetStar Royal, has undergone rigorous testing to become approved by Canon company, Océ.
Tested on the Océ ColorStream, the paper was put through its paces to ensure it met the standards required in terms of runability and printability, and was successfully awarded the Océ seal of approval. It will now appear on the Océ qualified media list.
The inkjet paper, which has undergone recent improvements to enhance the drying time, was reported to have achieved top results when tested on the Océ Colorstream 6000. International Paper has marked this as another triumph in their production of high-quality inkjet reels.
James S, western Europe technical services manager at International Paper, said:
“We are committed to continuously working to enhance our product ranges so that our customers are able to make assured decisions in terms of quality and compatibility. The JetStar Royal product range had already been tested and certified by major OEMs including Kodak, HP, Impika, and we are delighted that Océ has now been added to the growing list.”
