Joining instructions for the Industry Recognition Awards

BOSS is looking forward to welcoming you on the evening of Thursday 26 November 2020

To ensure you can access the Hopin platform which the awards will be hosted on, view event timings and allow us to assign you to your table, you must register before the 23 of November 2020.

The awards will recognise the teams and individuals in our industry who have gone above and beyond in 2020. BOSS has put together some handy links and guidance below. For any questions you have please contact Helen Dunn at helen@bossfederation.co.uk.

When do the awards start?

The main event runs from 18.00-21.00. However you will be able to access the platform from 17.30, so if you would like to familiarise yourself with the platform, find your table and check your tech set up, make sure to log in prior to 18.00 when activities will begin! We’ll also be staying open till midnight, so if you want to continue networking feel free to do so.

What’s happening on the evening?

We’ll be kicking the evening off with some virtual cocktail making to ensure you have a drink in hand. You should receive a goody box with ingredients in around the 24 November 2020. We’ll have a photo booth with prizes for the best dressed on the evening.

Dress code: Dress to impress on top/lounge wear on bottom

Fancy throwing some shapes in our disco room? Yes, there’s prizes for that too.

The awards will be hosted by Paul Sinha (the Sinnerman) from The Chase, so get ready to be entertained. We’ll also have a live auction with some fantastic prizes for you to win.

Navigating the Hopin Platform

We’ve put together a handy video to help you navigate your way around the Hopin platform, so you can get the most out of the experience.

What do I need?

You can view the awards with just a web browser, however if you have a webcam, speakers and microphone (most laptops have these built in) you’ll be able to network with other attendees and speak to guests on your table.

For the best experience make sure you have a good WiFi or hardwire internet connection.

Try to run Hopin in Google Chrome or Firefox if possible. Have you created a profile? Upload a photo and share your bio so people on the evening know who you are.

What can I expect?

First class entertainment from Paul Sinha, Jonny Cocktail and the chance to applaud those in the industry who have gone above and beyond in 2020.

The opportunity to network with 300+ attendees. You’ll be paired up speed dating style at random or you can invite another attendee to your own private networking session for longer.
