Keeley Travis’ director takes on ironman for charity

Paul Travis is taking part in an ironman challenge to raise £2,000 to help Marcus Allen and his family

Paul Travis said: “I am going to embark on the biggest challenge of my life, that is the triathlon event known as the ironman and takes place in Hamburg Germany.

“The ironman triathlon is the ultimate test of endurance and consists of a 2.4 mile swim followed by 110 miles on the bike with a marathon at the end. Whilst this will require a lot of hard work and determination it will be nothing compared to the continued love and dedication that Marcus and his family have shown in recent years.

“Marcus is an inspiring young boy who has rare condition known as AADC. Please see the attached video which explains the constant daily struggles and challenges that him and his family have to endure. Marcus now has a chance to embark on some pioneering new treatment that could transform his and his families lives.

“Any money raised will significantly help towards supporting him and his family after treatment and during his rehabilitation. Lets get behind Marcus and help him and his family achieve their dreams.”
