The changes at the EVO Group continue to shake out following a challenging 12 months, including the takeover of Complete Business Solutions at the start of this year

Three executives have announced their departures from the group in the last few weeks, including the former CCO of Complete.

First to depart was Debbie Nice, a former head of marketing at VOW and, more recently, business development director for EVO. She had been with the company since 2011, and has years of industry experience, including with Spicers, Office Friendly and CPD. In a post on social media, she said,

“I’ve been very fortunate to have worked with the best colleagues, customers and suppliers in the office product industry over the past 35 years – thank you to you all, it’s been a blast!”

Next to announce her departure was Cheryl Lamont, group marketing director at EVO, who announced her resignation at the end of April. Her last day at the company was April 28th, ending more than 25 years in the industry.

Just last week, a third executive announced his departure from EVO Group. Adam Noble was the former chief commercial officer (CCO) at Complete Business Solutions, having risen up through the ranks to become managing director in 2018 and CCO in 2021. In an update on LinkedIn, he noted,

“I left Complete at the of April, ending 34 years of service, 30 incredible years leading a wonderful team and building a great business at Irongate Group and following the sale of Irongate at the end of 2018, four years at Complete.”

Adam indicated he’s taking a little time for himself before deciding on his next career move.

Complete was acquired by EVO in January 2023. The move was said to preserve some 600 jobs across the UK, after the dealer ran into major financial difficulties. The firm had already reduced its workforce by around 35% and closed 13 sites in a bid to protect itself in what it called an ‘extremely challenging’ marketplace.
