Office services and supplies company ACS Group has announced its intention to double annual revenues to £50m within the next four years
ACS Group’s turnover for the year ended 31 December 2021 was £26m and the company has said it has experienced strong trading throughout 2022. ACS Group anticipates that this should deliver revenues in excess of £30m for the current financial year.
During the 12 months to 31 December 2021, the company grew its head count from 100 to 127 and is currently recruiting for a number of sales, purchasing and technical roles.
Established by chief executive Mike Hussain in 2008, ACS Group comprises six divisions providing services to private and public sector organisations. Customers include Lloyds Pharmacy, DVSA, Vertu Motors, Dixons Academies Trust and The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.
ACS Office delivers workplace solutions, ACS Express stocks and sells 25,000 office products and ACS Print provides professional print services.
ACS IT offers expert technology advice and support, ACS Managed Print takes care of entire print environments and ASC Interiors specialises in creating productive and inviting workspaces.
Commenting on the company’s performance, ACS Group chief executive, Mike Hussain, said: “We have grown the business organically by continually reinvesting in our infrastructure as well as refining and adding to our service offering. This ensures we consistently provide our clients with the service, tools and technology they need to work productively.
“As we exited from the pandemic, we recognised a need for change, we simply could not do things the way we used to. As a result, we have implemented a large number of specific measures as part of our transformation that will ensure we are able to meet the future needs of our clients and customers.
“Most recently, we have invested heavily in creating ACS IT which has been a huge success, enabling us to create new and closer more impactful relationships with customers throughout the UK.
“We have a clear growth strategy in place to enable us to double our turnover to £50m by 2026 based on three core principles. These are helping businesses succeed, promoting sustainable workplaces and bringing joy to every interaction customers have with us.”
In addition to its head office facilities in Baildon, Bradford, the company has a 27,000 sq ft storage and distribution centre in nearby Shipley which was opened at the start of the year.
Mike continued: “Of course, none of our recent and anticipated growth and success would be possible without the dedication, talent and commitment of the outstanding team who work for ACS Group.
“We will continue to invest in our people to help them develop their skills and support their personal ambitions whilst ensuring that we maintain the best culture and working environment. Getting this element right is the most important factor for our future plans.”
