OKI is partnering with Newtech to create an original concept in exhibitions and trade shows. As part of the project, OKI will take part in a series of alternative, highly-targeted shows across the country for customers and prospects.
Newtech gives selected specialised providers a chance to engage in productive face-to-face meetings in a non-competitive environment at various venues across the UK. OKI plans to concentrate its efforts in two different areas; showcasing its ColorPainter series of wide format printers, and its Pro9 Envelope Print System.
Martin Morrissey, managing director of Coactive Events (which Newtech is part of), said: “Our events spotlight selected areas of printing and our current focus is on personalisation. We foresee particular interest in these two areas from established printing and graphics businesses seeing to open up new revenue streams.”
Andrew Hall, marketing manager for OKI Europe, added: “We feel sure that this new style of small but focussed exhibition will give us an opportunity to show how we can help current and prospective customers to diversify into profitable new areas. We’re delighted to be part of this innovative format and look forward to a long successful partnership with Newtech.”
