Pentel has appointed Paul Smith to manage its sales territory in the south and west of England and Wales, to replace Richard Smith who has left the company after a long career with Pentel
Smith has extensive experience of the writing instruments industry, particularly the independent retail sector, with 16 years spent with Staedtler, where he was territory manager South.
Talking of his new appointment Smith said, “I am delighted to continue my career in the stationery industry, working for one of its leading names. My objective is to ensure that Pentel’s strong brand and quality product range continue to support and develop independent retailers and commercial stationery dealers throughout the south of England and Wales.”
He added, “I’m very much looking forward to meeting familiar faces and new customers and helping them grow their business profitably with Pentel’s comprehensive promotion calendar and exciting new product launches.”
