On 16 July, the Young Stationers held their annual dinner and awards presentation at Stationers’ Hall, London.
This year saw the introduction of five new awards, one for each of the sectors that come under the Stationers’ jurisdiction – books and archiving, journalism, office products and supplies, print, paper and packaging and publishing.
The new awards were in addition to the coveted overall Young Stationers’ Prize, which was awarded to 39 year-old journalism professor, Dr. Shane Tilton, of Ohio Northern University.
Prima’s digital marketing manager, Callum Edwards, was the youngest of all of the prize recipients at just 21 years old, and received a rapturous round of applause when collecting the Young Stationers’ Award for office products and supplies. The judges were suitably impressed by his role in developing an innovative digital marketing strategy and the successful rebrand of Prima Software.
Edwards was delighted to receive this award and commented:
“To even be considered alongside such an unbelievable shortlist of candidates felt like a great achievement in itself, but to win and represent the office supplies industry was an honour and an experience that I will treasure for my whole career.”
