Brother UK is launching two new compact document scanners to capitalise on the continued growth of its scan category and to open up more opportunities for partners. The ADS models are designed to help SOHO and business users work more efficiently and securely from any location.
Aaron Hopkinson, product and solutions manager – scan and mobile, at Brother UK, said: “Our scan category continues to deliver great results, outperforming the market and growing in all areas. The addition of the ADS-1200 and ADS-1700W strengthens the range for businesses with lower-volume scan requirements – a real opportunity for our partners to boost sales across a range of verticals.
“We’ve recently conducted a study into print and scan trends among managers and employees in businesses with up to 500 employees, which revealed that scanning has become more established in day to day activity in the last two years. Although the majority of those we surveyed are keen to reduce paper usage as part of their sustainability efforts, the prospect of going completely paperless is deemed impractical. This means that scanning has – and will continue to have – a critical role to play in bridging the gap between paper and digital information sharing.”
