BPGI recently held its Annual General Meeting in Berlin. As the organisation enters its 20th year of collaborative working in the independent dealer channel, the group has made positive steps to take the organisation forward, with increased membership and improving vendor performance since moving back to its European base.
This year’s meeting produced some changes within the management structure of BPGI with a new Executive Board being appointed for the next two years. A particular emphasis was put on ensuring that the varying types of members are fully represented.
Aidan McDonough, CEO of Integra Business Solutions, has been voted back by members and will remain Chairman of the group, continuing with his work to take the organisation forward over the next two years.
David Cabezon, Director of the fast growing Makro Group in Spain, was appointed Vice Chairman and Tim Beaumont, Managing Director of Nemo Group, has been appointed Treasurer. All appointments are with immediate effect.
Aidan commented: “I am delighted to have been asked to maintain my chairmanship of the BPGI organisation for a second term. Over recent years, following a strategic review, BPGI has been going form strength to strength and I look forward to working with Barrie and the team together with our vendor partners to further develop the group.”
