Through their Rhodia brand, ExaClair Limited, the UK distributor for the Exacompta-Clairefontaine group, has been delighted to sponsor the recent 2021 Fen 10 race event
The annual gruelling 10 mile open road course is organised by the England Athletics affiliated Fenland Running Club and takes place around the historic Cambridgeshire market town of Wisbech, which is where the club is based. Now in its 17th year, the race regularly attracts its full capacity of 400 participants from over 68 clubs across the country, many of whom run on behalf of a variety of charities.
Lawrence Savage, marketing manager at ExaClair, commented: “We are extremely privileged to have sponsored this prestigious race event and it’s been fantastic to hear that there’s been such a lot of positive feedback from all the running clubs involved. We extend our congratulations to all runners and volunteers who took part! With over 7 million people in the UK regularly taking part in running activities, it’s renowned not only for its physical health benefits, but also in helping in the reduction of stress relief, depression and anxiety. With the widely recognised emotional health and well-being benefits gained through other creative hobbies such as journaling, we believe matching our range of Rhodia notebooks and journals complemented the event perfectly.”
“Rhodia is an iconic stationery brand and the range features products with Italian leatherette covers alongside Clairefontaine’s signature premium-quality, PEFC™ Certified 90gsm brushed-vellum paper that’s loved by pen fans globally.”
Chairperson of the Fenland Running Club, Tony Foice-Beard, added: “We were ecstatic at ExaClair’s support as not only are they a locally based business, but we felt that the Rhodia brand was an ideal partner for the event. Each participant was thrilled to receive a Rhodia Fen 10 runners vest, medal and notebook upon completing the course.”
